250W Isolated Dual Output with PFC Fucntion
MEAN WELL introduce the new PID-250 series of isolated dual output switching power supplies that can provide 250W of convection-cooled power. With 222 x 95 x 40mm popular slim shape, these compact 90~264V switchers with active PFC function are ideal for 1U installations.
Possessing 12V, 24V, 36V, or 48V main output channel (CH1) with up to 175% of high peak load capability and 5V/5A (CH2) for logic control usage, PID-250 series are ideal for motor-based machinery or equipment that can be widely used in automation, test equipment, POS system, franking machine, banking machine, printer or plotter etc..
The isolated design between CH1 and CH2 can significantly prevent noise sourcing of the motor action from entering control circuits and hence secure the accurate operation of the end equipment. There is also a special overload characteristic that if the CH1 goes into overload or malfunctions, CH2(5V) will still work properly. That means the equipment can still operate and your systems microprocessor will shut down your equipments safely.
Accompany with the optional L-bracket and cover, PID-250 series provides end users with more alternatives to configure their system if the external protective coverage is needed or the mounting space has certain constraints. Other standard functions include remote control for CH1, short circuit, overload, over voltage, and over temperature protections.
