DRC-40/60 – 40W & 60W DIN Rail Type Security Power (with additional charger output)
MEAN WELL security power families have been extensively adopted by the global leading branded manufacturers in various types of security monitoring systems and fire alarm facilities. There are AD/ADS/ADD, SCP, and PSC families in the enclosed type configuration or the PCB type configuration right now. In order to fulfill the demand having the power supply installed on the DIN rail inside the control cabinets, MEAN WELL releases the 40W and 60W DIN rail type security power ~ DRC-40 and DRC-60 series. These two series can be mounted on TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15 DIN rail. In addition to the primary output (CH1), the additional charger output (CH2) is equipped so that the users are able to exploit this charger output along with an external battery to construct the security system with DC UPS function.
DRC-40 and DRC-60 accept 90~264VAC full range input and each consists of two models with different DC output voltages, 13.8V and 27.6V. These two series are both designed without the built-in fan, and the working efficiency is up to 88% that every model can work at the ambient temperature -30~+70°C under free air convection. DRC-40 and DRC-60 standard models employ the TTL signal and relay contact, respectively, to provide the AC OK and battery low alarm signals (DRC-40 series also provides the optional model employing relay contact.) Other standard functions are composed of short circuit protection, overload protection, over voltage protection, battery low cut off, battery reverse polarity protection by fuse, and front panel DC voltage adjustment. DRC-40 and DRC-60 are certified with UL/CUL/CB/TUV/CE safety regulation and meet the requirement of IEC60950-1 Limited Power Source (LPS.) Suitable applications include security systems, emergency lighting systems, alarm systems, DC UPS systems, central monitoring systems, access systems, and etc.
