MEAN WELL’s HLG family (9 series between 40W and 320W) has been extensively employed in all categories of LED lighting applications since their release to the market. In order to fulfill the demand for higher wattage power supplies for the larger scale fixtures in the LED luminaire market, MEAN WELL announced the new 600W range – HLG-600H Series. Like all of the current HLG series, this series accepts 90~305VAC full range input and provides nine models with different nominal DC output voltages between 12V and 54V that LED lighting applications frequently use. With aluminum case and fully potted silicone, HLG-600H features IP65/67 high protection levels, 5G anti-vibration capability, and industrial-level immunity against instantaneous surge, up to 4kV allowing the series to work in various kinds of indoor or outdoor, highly dusty, highly moist, and high vibration harsh environments.
HLG-600H series utilises leading edge high performance circuit design, the working efficiency is up to 96%, thus this series is able to work between -40C and +70C ambient temperature by air convection cooling. Function wise, HLG-600H offers two types of models (A/B-Type): A-Type is equipped with internal potentiometers enabling the output current to be adjusted 50~100% and the output voltage 85~105%, respectively; B-type is equipped with the built-in 3 in 1 dimming function (0~10Vdc, PWM signal, or resistance). Other functions consist of short circuit protection, over current protection, over voltage protection, over temperature protection, built-in 5V/0.5A standby power, built-in remote control, less-than 0.5W no load power consumption and remote-off. This series is certified with UL/CUL/ENEC/CB/CE lighting regulations, including UL8750 and ENEC EN61347-2-13. Suitable applications comprise of LED street lighting, LED high bay lighting, parking lot lighting, LED searchlight, LED fishing lamps etc.
