SDR-240 Series – 240W High Efficiency Slim DIN Rail Series
New from MEAN WELL, SDR-240 Series is the first model from the new slim DIN rail product series, for the growing demand of high performance Din rail power supplies in the market. Featuring 93.5% plus of high efficiency it can provide 240W continuously or 360W for 3 seconds (with 50% bonus power) up to 60°C, using only free air convection.
With built in active PFC function SDR-240 Series is a full range switcher that fulfils the requirements of EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current. The slim design of 63.5mm, in width, helps to save space on the rail and also makes it 42.8% smaller in size compared to its predecessor. Other standard functions include DC OK relay contact, on panel LED indicator and protections for short circuit, over load, over voltage and over temperature conditions.
To fulfil the requirements of marine and semi-conductor related usage SDR-240 also complies with GL and SEMI F47 norms, in addition to UL, CUL, TUV and CE Approvals. Suitable applications include factory automation, semi-conductor fabrication equipment, marine related installation and electro-mechanical applications with mid power demands.
