The new GC30B Series from MEAN WELL is a 30W power adapter and lithium ion battery charger that meets the low no load power consumption energy saving requirements.

GC30B series are a range of Class II two stage battery chargers with universal AC input for world wide application and a no load power consumption of <1W. Especially suited to charging lithium ion batteries in all kinds of end product and the peak current capability enables GC30B to be used for equipment that requires a huge start-up current.

Featuring dual colour LED, to indicate charging status, built in short  circuit, over load, over voltage and over temperature protections and suitability for continuous load this product can be widely used in household or commercial applications and where energy saving is a vital consideration.

Complying with global safety requirements and the 2002/95/EC RoHS requirements this range of products have completed the design, development and safety application and are ready for the market.
