240W Enclosed Switching Power Supply with Active PFC Function
SP-240 Series are single output enclosed switching power supplies with built in Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) function, launched to replace the ever successful selling S-240 Series. This new series is designed to cover both the features and functions of the older model but with new added elements too.
SP-240 Series will keep the same locations of its mounting holes, to ease the transition between old and new, and has the built in fan but benefits from a 15mm lower height than the S-240. SP-240 possesses built in active PFC, which is superior to the passive PFC design of S-240. With full range input from 88 to 264VAC this series has the same output voltage options, 5V, 7.5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, 30V & 48V, as the old one. Featuring up to 89% of operating efficiency, SP-240 has a higher efficiency by 1 ~ 4% than the corresponding model from the S-240 range. SP-240 series is also equipped with a long life DC fan with Fan ON/OFF control circuit and an operating temperature range up to 70C ambient.
The new SP-240 also includes standard functions of adjustable output voltage and protections for short circuit, over load, over voltage and over temperature. All models in the series comply with international safety standards as per UL, cUL, TUV, CB & CE. Suitable applications include industrial automation, moving sign, electronic equipment and instrumentation.
