MEAN WELL have further expanded the AC/DC green adapter line and introduced the miniture GS40 & GS60 Series that comply with the latest Energy Star regulation and US California Energy Code, CEC level V. GS40 & GS60 Series are external desktop switching afaptors with standard IEC320-C14 inlet as the input connector. With 125 x 50 x 31.5mm compact sized UL 94V-0 rated plastic enclosure GS40 & GS60 are light and convenient to carry and also fulfil the recovery rate of IT-communication equipment required by WEEE that 92.1% of the unit can be effectilely recovered.   The whole design is inbued with energy saving and environmental protection concerns.

Very low no load power consumption (<0.3W) and up to 92.5% high efficiency are two main features for GS40 & GS60 to be energy saving.  Wih 90 ~ 264Vac full range input and 5~48Vdc output voltage options they can be used globally for all kinds of small electronic devices. GS40 & GS60 also passed the LPS test and aquired safety/EMC certificates for TUV, UL, CUL, CB, BSMI, CE, FCC and CCC which secure its use for different applications for consumer electronics, communications industry and industrial devices.
