MEAN WELL have added a new 45W unit, PSD-45 Series, to its DC-DC Converter product line. These PCB Type DC-DC Converters enlarge the products offering low wattage DC/DC within our open frame switching power supply section.  Because of the case free design PSD-45 can maintain a lower cost, making it suitable for economical installation inside system enclosures. The 5″x3″ (127mm x 76mm) miniature design helps to solve space problems and enduce efficient space usage in the end system.

PSD-45 possess up to 83% of operation efficiency and can be used under -10C ~ +60C of ambient temperature by only free air convection. Featuring 2:1 wide DC input range PSD-45 can transfer a wide range o DC input voltage ratings into a stable DC output. Other standard features include 15000VAC input/output isolation, potential meter for 10% of Vo adjustment, CB/CE certification and protections for short circuit, over load, over voltage and reverse polarity. Suitable applications are industrial controls, telecommunications, voltage-regulating and vehicle/marine back-up systems that use batteries as the power source.
