MEAN WELL introduce another new AC/DC enclosed type single output security power unit ~ SCP-35 (35W), SCP-50(50W) & SCP-75(75W) series. Featuring energy saving concepts and constant voltage output design, these power supplies provide energy for battery charging and also for peripheral security devices using the remaining electric power, in order to fulfill the special requirements of security systems, access controls alarm systems, or battery backup related applications. These new generation MEAN WELL security power products increase the working efficiency by 10~12%, compared to older generations, and along with the feature of very low “no load power consumption” (<0.75W), the whole family can be declared as real energy-savers.

Designed with high frequency switching topology, SCP-35/50/75 series have AC input for 85~264VAC. Featuring up to 86% operating efficiency, they can work under 60°C of high ambient temperature using only free air convection, in accordance with the airtight working environment of security systems and hence are very suitable to install into the cabinet of security systems.

The SCP series are designed to have both terminal block and wires for output connection, which provides more flexibility to the installation. Other built-in functions include battery voltage detection, battery temperature compensation (by external NTC thermistor), battery polarity protection (by fuse), and protections for short circuit, overload, and over voltage. Complying with global safety certificates per UL, CUL, CB and CE, SCP-35/50/75 series offer a good power choice for your new design of security system, access control system, emergency lighting system, alarm system, and central monitoring system…etc.
