How many watts can you imagine squeeze from a 5″ x 3″ x 1U dimension? 80W, 120W, 150W? the new PPS-200 Series – 200W open frame type switching power supply with power factor correction function that acheives the 200W milestone in the most popular dimension for PCB power supplies. Thanks to the soft switching and synchronous rectification all of the PPS-200 models possess high efficiency characteristics that have improved uo tp 6% compared to traditional topologies and hence it can supply 150W using merely free air convection and 200W by forced air. With 9.78W/in³ of high power density PPS-200 is a compact 90-260V switcher that is ideal for 1U installations.
